Dark Roast Alishan Oolong Description:
Produced by people of the Dabang tribe of the Tsou People of Taiwan. Harvested from a plantation that is managed in accordance with EU Regulations (EC834/2007) for pesticide and fertilizer free production at elevations of 3,200 ft to 5,000 ft above sea level. This balled oolong has a light oxidation, but is roasted at the end of production to produce a smokey and nutty aroma. The plucking style is a bud and 2-4 leaves.
This is a complex oolong with aromas of wood, smoke, and chestnut. It can be enjoyed hot or iced.

Dark Roast Alishan Oolong Asian Style Preparation
Asian Style: Steep 6 grams of Alishan High Moutain in a medium size Gaiwan for approximately 20-30 seconds and pour off into a small pitcher and serve. Infuse 6-8 times adding 5-10 seconds for each infusion.
- Step 1:
- Preheat mug with boiling water, discard and refill.
- Step 2:
- Steep 1 flat tsp or 3-4 grams of tea per 8 oz of water.
- Step 3:
- Steep for 3-5 minutes as desired. Experiment with slightly cooler water or shorter steeping times. Try one additional steeping if desired.
