Steeping Notes for Moroccan Mint

Our green and peppermint tea blend is one of our most popular! Be sure to steep this like other green teas with cooler water to ensure it doesn't end up bitter. During the summer this is great iced, either brewed with hot water and poured over ice or cold brewed for 10-12 hours.

Step 1:
Add boiling water to mug and allow the water to cool to 170°-185° or simply wait 2-5 minutes.
Step 2:
Steep 1 flat Tbsp or 3-4 grams of Moroccan Mint Tea per 8 oz of water.
Step 3:
Steep for 3-5 minutes. Green teas often have substantially different character depending on the time and temperature used for steeping so experiment with water throughout the range. Try 2-3 steepings.

I enjoy this one because mint is such a strong flavor. I use it in protein drinks and it still shows up on my palate the mint.

This is my go-to pickmeup morning tea. It is soothing, mellow, and fresh. The mint is natural and soft; the grassy flavor green tea typically has is enfolded and transformed by the sweet mint. Be careful not to use water that is too hot--doing so 'burns' and makes bitter the sweetness of the mint. Not good reheated. Wonderful as ice tea.
