Honeybush, Lemon Myrtle, and Goji Berry Tea

As one of our most popular herbal teas, Ginger Honeybush includes numerous amazing flavors for a complex tea that's great anytime, hot or iced. Honeybush, native to South Africa and slightly sweeter than its more famous cousin Rooibos Tea, has been a favorite drink of the region for hundreds of years and gives an aroma of honey. Lemon Myrtle, historically used in cooking in medicine by Aboriginal people of Australia, provides a wonderful citrus flavor that is a cornerstone of Ginger Honeybush. Goji Berry, also known as Wolfberry, is mainly grown in China and has become very popular in recent years. Dried Goji Berry has historically been used in cooking though has also been turned in to wine, especially in Asia.

Step 2:

Step 3:

I picked some up at the Leesburg Flower & Garden show on Saturday and couldn't wait to make some iced tea. I boiled 1C of water and steeped about 2t of tisane for 10 minutes. Poured over a water bottle full of ice with 2t sugar and 2 packets stevia and YUM! This is the first product I've tried from Dominion Tea, and definitely makes me want to try more.

I love drinking Ginger Honeybush tea in the afternoon when I want a little pick-me-up without the worry of caffeine too late in the day. I cannot describe how incredibly light and refreshing this tea tastes. It has grown into one of my favorite teas since my last tea tasting at Dominion Tea. I highly recommend it.
