Dominion Tea is proud to offer great teas to a great many customers in Bethesda, MD. For seven great years, customers got to know Zen Tara Tea until they closed their doors in March 2014 to pursue other interests. While Dominion Tea is a different business entirely, we share many of the same ideas and offer a number of the same teas including Asian Pear & Spice White, Ceylon OP1, and the extremely popular Sencha.
Bethesda Maryland has come a long way from its days as a way point for a Native American trail and later as a stop off on the Washington and Rockville Turnpike which faciltated trade in tobacco and other goods (we imagine tea as well) between Georgetown, Rockville, and on to Frederick.
While Dominion Tea doesn't have a shop physically in Bethesda, we do call it our second home. We love the Capital Crescent Trail, all the outstanding restaurants in Downtown Bethesda, and all the great work done by those at the National Institutes of Health and the National Naval Medical Center. Many of our customers come from Bethesda and we are thrilled to be able to support your tea habit through education and a wide variety of products.
