2015 Gu Yun Baked Puerh Brick Description:

This Shu (baked) puerh brick comes from leaf grown in the Menghai region of Yunnan, China. Tea has been produced here dating back at least as far as the Qing Dynasty and is highly sought after for the production of puerh. This brick has been produced using the more modern style of puerh production which rapidly produces a smooth earthy flavor and is wrapped in dried bamboo. 

Each cake is approximately 500 grams.

Baked (Shu) Puerh from Menghai, China

Step 1:
Preheat mug or giawan with boiling water, discard and refill.
Step 2:
Steep 3-4 grams puerh leaf in a mug or gaiwan.
Step 3:
Steep first infusion 1 minute, 2nd infusion 1 minute 20 seconds, 3rd infusion 1 minute 50 seconds, subsequent infusions about 2 minutes.
