Matcha Lemonade
- 3 cups cold water
- 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (approximately 5-7 lemons)
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
- 4 oz water
- 2 tsp matcha powder
Bring the 4 ounces of water up to 185° Fahrenheit and mix in the 2 teaspoons of matcha using either a bamboo whisk or a fork. The goal is to try to remove any clumps of the matcha powder and disperse it throughout the water. Allow it to cool.
In a pitcher mix together the cold water, lemon juice and agave nectar. Stir until the agave nectar is dissolved. Then mix in the matcha. You can serve immediately over ice or put in the refrigerator. The matcha will settle toward the bottom if not fully dissolved, so you may want to stir again before serving.
