Inspired by the abundance of wild raspberry bushes across Loudoun County, Loudoun Raspberry Truffle features the best of chocolate raspberry tea and includes both raspberry leaf and freeze dried raspberry druplets for a beautiful appearance and amazing taste.

Loudoun Raspberry - Chocolate Raspberry Tea Significance
Raspberries have long been common in the human diet so it should be no surprise that raspberry canes for cultivation were brought to America very early by European settlers. In fact, George Washington even cultivated raspberries at Mount Vernon! Given the abundance of raspberries across Northern Virginia including Fairfax and Loudoun Counties we just couldn't resist the blended name.
- Step 1:
- Preheat mug with boiling water, discard and refill.
- Step 2:
- Steep 2 flat tsp or 3-4 grams of tea per 8 oz of water.
- Step 3:
- Steep for 3-5 minutes as desired. Experiment with slightly cooler water or shorter steeping times. Try one additional steeping if desired.
